How to Reset the iphone
To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red “power off” slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.
Q: Will RjDj work on my <you name it> device?
A: we started developping RjDj on the iPhone, but we will soon be looking forward to run it on other devices, and open source the platform too.
Q: Will RjDj be available on the iPod Touch?
A: it is available but you need a headset with microphone to listen to all the scenes using microphone input.
Q: What is my Identifier?
A: That is the tricky one. When your phone is connected with Itunes, the first screen of the Iphone tabs shows the serial number of your phone.
so now click on the Serial Number and it will change into the identifier.
Now use edit –> copy and send us this murder number and we will then send you an email once your identifier is added to the RjDj provisioning file (don’t ask what that is, just do it).

Q: I got the email from you that i can now download the application. What am i supposed to do?
A: Download the .zip file which you get through the link in your email. Unzip it. In the unziped directory you will find two files. Drag both files on your Itunes library. When you have your Iphone applications displayed in Itunes (you can enable that in the Itunes preferences) you should now see the RjDj app in the Iphone applications of Itunes.
When you sync your phone, the application should be on your phone.
Q: I lost the RjDj application on the Iphone but i can’t live without it. Where can i get it again?
A: Either find the email with the link we sennt to you and follow the steps again or just drop us an email
Q: I installed the RjDj app, what is it supposed to do?
A: RjDj only works with headphones connected! No headphones no sound.When you start the RjDj app for the first time the default scene will start to play. When listening to it you will hear the sound around you bouncing forth and back. No noise, nothing to hear… say something and it should work ;-)
You can than choose different scenes, which all react different and produce different music according to the artist who has done the scene you were choosing… If you are not sure if the scene does what you want, click the info button on the top right corner of the player
Q: I installed the RjDj app but it does not work.
A: Do you have the headphones with microphone (standard iphone headset) connected? Is the volume up? Did you start the application at all? Try to choose a different scene. If that does not help, send us some feedback and we will try to figure out what is happening.
Q: How do i get to the installed scenes and recordings?
A: The scenes on your phone are displayed in the scenes listing which you can access through the scenes tab in the tab bar. When you are in the player, click the back button. Check out the screenshot and you will find it.
Q: How do i get to the player interface?
A: When you are not in the player, you either want to choose a new scene, which brings you directly to the player or you want switch to the player by taping on the Now playing button.
Q: What is an RjDj scene?
A: An RjDj scene is like a composition. It tells the RjDj player what to do. Like play back something, listen to the sound input of your phone or do this or that when there is an acoustic event etc. Scenes are done by different artists or developers. Q: How do i find out what a specific RjDj scene is supposed to do?
A: There is a button on the upper right corner of the player. You will find a description in there.
Q: What is the difference between a RjDj recording and an RjDj scene?
An RjDj scene sounds different wherever, whenever, however you listen to it. It reacts on you and your environment. If you want to record a scene, you actually record whatever happens on your phone right at the time you press the record button. You can than access your recording in the recordings section of RjDj. Once recorded, it will sound the same whenever you listen to it. The recording is like a song.
Q: How do i record in RjDj?
A: Press the recording button in the player. The button will switch from white to red. Switch it off by tapping the red record button again.
Q: How can I get the recordings off the iPhone?
Currently this is not possible unless you have a hacked iPhone. One of the next updates will include a better solution! Stay tuned.
Q: But I have a jailbroken iPhone – where do I find the recordings?
You’re a hacker, just use “find / -name *.wav” ;)
Now seriously, the recordings generally should be stored in /var/mobile/Applications/*/Documents/recordings unless you really hacked on your phone in ways we didn’t yet know about.
Q: How do I create an RjDj scene?
A: You need to do some thinking, composing and hacking. Here is all you need.
