Update on the rjdj scene contest.

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

The RjDj Sprint is now on its second day. In good old spanish tradition we are having siesta’s on the beach from 3pm to 6pm and then work until 3am in the morning like all spanish people do. All participants got straight into RjDj and work with an incredible speed. Still it is really very demanding to get at least one scene done in three days. Here is an update with a list of the scenes submitted so far:

The race is on. Create the coolest RjDj summer scene.

We just announced the prize for the best RjDj summer Scene. The participants of the Barcelona sprint have until Sunday evening to submit their scenes. A yet to be defined democratic election will vote for the best Scene. The price is hot: a brand new iTouch! We will keep you updated about the submissions.

It’s on. RJ Barcelona Sprint Summer 2008.

Friday, August 8th, 2008

When the majority of Barceloneses just left for their notorious August vacationes not only a lot of tourists swarm the city but also some of the coolest PD people found their way to the hottest location ;-)

We started the RJ Barcelona Sprint this morning, after a night of BBQ and drinks on Paul’s terrace. Apart of Frank Barknecht everyone was sleeping well either in a tent or just under the open sky (I am sure Frank will have a wonderful night today as well ;-). We will keep you posted about what is going on here. Unfortunately we were not yet able to setup a decent infrastructure for people taking part remotely. If you are interested, please drop by on the #rjdj irc channel on freenode.net. For now, check out our photo stream.

RJ Barcelona Sprint, August 8,9,10

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

sagradafamiliaIt is time for the next RJ sprint, this time in Barcelona Spain.

Paul Brossier will host the event on his terrace in the middle of cuitat vella the old part of Barcelona. We will inspect the location next week and review it for setting up tents where we will also sleep. So actually it is very possible that we will be hosting one of the first sprint camps ;-) RJ will provide travelling costs and accomodation (either tent or hotel… lets see) for 10 people. We are mainly sponsoring PD people who also have a musical background. If you are interested, please let us know!
