We finally managed to jump over the big pond and will land in New York with the premier of our new child the RJC1000 on the 11th of December and an RjDj workshop on the 12th of December. Both events will be kindly hosted by our friends at Eyebeam. So all you RjDj lovers in New York, it would be great meeting you at the first Reactive Music Experience in New York.

December 11, 19.00; RJC1000 Premier with the first ever reactive music experience:

We will demo the RJC1000 software and walk you through the basic features and of course also show you how to handle them. Besides that we will reveal a lot of background info about the software and our future plans. You will get a chance to test things out and of course we are very keen to learn what you think about the RJC1000. After that we will play live with the RJC1000 and make New York the first city on this planet to host a Reactive Music Experience. Make sure you bring your iPhone or iTouch and don’t forget to bring a headset with microphone. Location and RSVP here.

December 12, 13.00; make reactive music:

We will take part in the eyebeam holiday hack shop and teach everyone who is up for it the basics of how to make reactive music. Pop in, it will be either total confusing for you or real fun ;-) For the participants of the workshop we highly reommend bringing their own gear (laptop, headphones, iPhone/iPod) if possible. In case you want to use soundfiles or loops in your scenes you could prepare them in 22050 samplerate. The most important thing to bring along is a good idea for a breath-taking piece of reactive music. Location and RSVP here.
